Tenbin Labs - Anchor Engineer (Rust)

Tenbin Labs is looking for a founding rust engineer to architect and build Tenbin protocol. You will be working closely with leadership, our backend team, frontend teams, and our infrastructure partners to build the off-chain component of our protocol.

About Us

Tenbin Labs is building a tokenized asset issuance protocol for Real World Assets (RWAs), starting with FX stables and commodities. Our system enables yield-bearing, composable assets that are swappable, liquidatable, and natively integrated across DeFi. Backed by $7M from top venture funds, exchanges, and market makers, we’re creating a capital-efficient framework where the marginal cost of issuing new assets approaches zero, unlocking seamless on-chain access to a broad range of exposures.

Our team brings deep expertise across traditional finance and crypto, with backgrounds at Spearbit, Flow Traders, and respected DeFi research groups.

What you will do

• Take the lead in building a high-performance trading/hedging system that bridges the gap between on-chain and traditional markets.
• Work closely with ISVs, custodial partners, and prime brokerages to build a scalable solution to traditional market access for our smart contract protocol
• Collaborate with the engineering and product department to build a new kind of DeFi primitive on top of a robust system that tightly couples both on-chain and off-chain components
• Mentor and guide other engineers as we grow our nascent team

Who you are

• You have a proven multi-year track record building performant and reliable services in Rust
• You are highly experienced building services that interact with on-chain contracts and off-chain trading systems
• You are security-minded and instinctually look for ways to break things.
• You are able to quickly pick up and apply new concepts as you encounter them.

What you need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong expertise in Rust and frameworks for building backend services (e.g. Actix, Axum, Tokio)
• Solid experience in DeFi development (protocol interaction, arbitrage, liquidity management, DEX trading)
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and tooling (AWS etc.), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and provisioning (Terraform)
• Deep understanding of on-chain and off-chain security practices (key management, transaction signing, API security)
• Familiarity with working with chain indexers and oracles

Nice to haves (Not an issue as long as you can learn ahead of the interview)

• Prior experience with algorithmic trading
• Practical understanding of MEV and transaction ordering
• Deep understanding of derivatives pricing models
• Exceptional learning ability
• Communicate fluently in English
• Be curious and creative
